Silent Tears..................

My tears are silent..

It doesn't seem fair.
I have worked so hard.
I have been brave.
I have loved.
I have persevered.
I have strived.

I don't want to feel this way.
I want to be happy for them all.
I want to be indifferent to it all.
but it so hard.....

I know what I must do
and so I will.
And so I ask her for guidance and strength
to carry on.
To not lose sight of my dreams and hopes.
To continue to search for beauty and love.
To accept things for what they are, even if they don't seem fair or right.

And sometimes, if I need to, I will have silent tears..................
